Project Martina
We raise awareness among young people about cancer prevention directly in schools through an engaging and inclusive format.
We are a volunteer association dedicated to serving the community in the Varese area for nearly 50 years, founded in 1973. Our motto is "We Serve", and our primary goal is to raise funds and give back to others.
We are part of Lions Clubs International, the world's largest volunteer organisation, with approximately 1.4 million volunteer members in over 200 countries.
A group of passionate women and men, united by the desire to do good in our community.

Free eye screenings for children, for early prevention of amblyopia and the protection of children's eyesight.
Every year we train and provide guide dogs to visually impaired people, restoring their autonomy and quality of life.
We collect used eyeglasses and redistribute them to those in need, reducing waste and helping the most vulnerable people.
The first inclusive playground in Varese, built in Villa Mylius and inaugurated on 24 April 2021. A place for everyone.
We support the POL.HA Varese Association which develops sport among people with disabilities, training high-level Paralympic athletes.
Varese Schiranna — Lake Varese
VIVILAGO 2026 returns to Schiranna for three days of celebration, sport, music, fun and solidarity on the shores of Lake Varese.
Born to enhance and protect Lake Varese, VIVILAGO is today a charitable event that brings together community, environment, inclusion and participation. An event open to all — families, children, young people, sports enthusiasts and citizens — designed to experience the lake together in an active, joyful and supportive way.
From 26 June, starting at approximately 7pm, until the afternoon of 28 June, Schiranna will come alive with live music, DJ sets, sports activities, Dragon Boat, children's games, shows, social gatherings, food & beverage and plenty of opportunities to spend time together outdoors.
Taking part in VIVILAGO means enjoying wonderful moments in a unique setting, while also supporting a concrete cause: the proceeds from the event will go to community solidarity projects, with particular focus on the inclusion of people with disabilities through sport.
VIVILAGO is much more than a festival: it is a community experience, an opportunity to rediscover Lake Varese and contribute, together, to a project of solidarity and participation.
Vivilago 2026 returns to Schiranna as a great community celebration dedicated to sport, music and solidarity on the shores of Lake Varese. A charitable event that unites the territory, enhances the environment and actively promotes social inclusion through support for local projects.
